Using Office 365 together with your Oceania Hosting Account

If you have purchased Microsoft Office 365 and would prefer to continue using your email accounts set up in your Oceania cpanel please follow the below instructions which should be used in conjunction with the setup information you receive from MicroSoft.
How to Enter Your DNS Settings as provided by MS Office 365.
- Log in to your hosting account’s cpanel.
- To create your TXT record:
- Click Zone Editor in the Domains section.
- Choose the Domain you wish to Manage
- Select Filter TXT
- Click Add Record.
- In the Add a Record section, enter the information provided by Microsoft.
- To create your CNAME records:
- From Zone Editor in the Domains section.
- Select Filter CNAME
- Click Add Record.
- In the Add a Record section, enter the information provided by Microsoft.
- To create your MX records:
- From Zone Editor in the Domains section.
- Select Filter MX
- Click Add a Record.
- In the Add a Record section enter the information provided by Microsoft
READ THIS
If you are a little unsure and do not want to be caught up in an endless Time To Live waiting period do this:
BEFORE you start any changes Set to the TTL to 300. This means you can make changes that will be effective in 5 minutes rather than 14400s (4 hours). Also it will enable you to undo and only have to wait 5 minutes to fix – in case you make a typo or something ( not that you would!)
It is important, for your sites security, though to reset the TTL to 14400 AFTER you are happy with the changes.
